This lecture is about digital design. It's story has relationship with the previous lecture that is technology topic but this time is focusing on software and program for architecture. From Ajarn's sample, 3D animation software is the important tool for designer because it can generate form easily and also show the process of generating the form. Moreover, it make the form to have life. I don't know the designer's method in the design process. I think the designer should think about their work before using software because it is tool for us but if the method is not like this, I mean designer use software without thinking and use process of generating form from software, That work will be software's work. It's not designer's work.
Another thing is trace topic. The word "trace" is quite hard to understand. Ajarn give us the definition of it in class. " Mark of the absence of a presence, and always already absent present ". It like, trace is the copy of something and represent that thing but it's not that thing. It like the designing from software. The software can give sense of life but it does not have life.
